Routines...

These days I've been a voracious reader. Being fully aware that only Jesus Christ changes hearts and lives, my quest to ingest information has been to glean from other's who have overcome, who've 'been there, done that' and won!
Age of Opportunity by Paul David Tripp has been one such book. I don't recommend too too many books, but if you have young ones, teenagers or just want to be encouraged, get yourself this resource.

Sometimes we just need to be reminded:

"Finally, approaching the family as a theological community means getting
very practical about what it means to follow God in the mundane, everyday
situations of life. Most of us will not be written up in history books. Most of us will be forgotten in two or three generations after our deaths. There simply are not many grand moments of life, and we surely don't live life in those moments. No, we live life in the utterly mundane. We exist in the bathrooms, bedrooms,
living rooms, and hallways of life. This is where the character of our life is set. This is where we live the life of faith. Thus we need to teach our children to
take this Godward focus into the most mundane moments of life."

As you live life today,

remember it's in the mundane,

the simple routine of your every day living-

09-29-07 040

that Jesus is desiring to make Himself known to each one of us in the most intimate of ways,

ways you can understand and draw you into this Divine romance,

one that makes your days worth waking up to!

Some days we just need to be reminded...

Really nice images here...I esp. love the one of the laundry drying on the line. It's a visual that reminds me of my childhood, playing in the sheets my mom and just hung up. That just brought a smile to my face :)
