Being Poured out for His Glory!

holy experience

On this day of multitude Monday of One thousand Gifts:

#39. Kissing and sending off two boys with their daddy to Sea World for the 'take your child to work day.'

#40. A large chunk of Time spent alone with my Lover and Lord.

#41. The opportunity to recite from memory Ephesians 2:1-10 with our Counseling training class and watching the Spirit of God touch their hearts in a visible, liquid way...He is so powerful.
Here it is personalized:
"Once I was dead because of my disobedience and my many sins. I used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, following the devil-the commander of the forces in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. All of us used to live in sin, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature, we were subjects of His anger.
But God is so rich in mercy and He loved me so much, that even when I was dead because of my sins, He gave me life when He raised Jesus from the dead. It is only by God's grace that I am saved. He raised me from the dead along with Christ and has seated me in the heavenly realms because I belong to Christ. Now God can point to me in all future ages as an example of His incredible grace and mercy toward me, as shown in all He's done for me because I belong to Christ.
God saved me by His grace when I believed. I can't take credit for that, it's a gift from Him. Salvation is not a reward for the good things I've done, so I can't boast about it! I am His masterpiece. He created me anew in Christ so I can do the good things He's planned for me a long time ago."
I encourage you to recite this personally because it's makes it more personal and life-changing! Especially when you say out loud that you are His masterpiece!
#42. The heart change I experienced when I said those words: I am Your masterpiece, created anew in Christ.
#43. A constant flow of tears streaming down my daddy's face as he sits in service yesterday. A melting of his heart as he hears the truth that God's justice was met when Jesus was heaped with his sin. Any sacrifice I offer doesn't compare with His.
#44. I am no longer a slave to sin...it has no power over me any longer because I belong to the King!
